Sisters Carla Tweddell and Linda Atherton
Carla Tweddell and Linda Atherton are Star Points for the 2004 Year. Carla is serving as Electa and Linda is serving as Esther. These two women are dedicated Chapter members as well as loving, loyal sisters. Below is some information about them and their lives both inside and outside of Chapter.
Carla Rae Tweddell has been a member of Ellbrook Chapter for ten years. She has served as Warder, Marshal, Ruth and Electa. When Carla was initiated on September 2, 1993, Esther and Clarence Cudney were serving as Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron. Carla's friends Karl and Betty Mayer, who have since moved out of state, were able to attend her initiation. Carla's favorite Chapter events include the biannual Fredonia (NY) trip and different Chapter visitations. Carla is active in her church and is also an excellent bowler. Of her sister Linda, Carla notes that she has been a "big help" to Carla as she has served in different stations.

Linda Atherton has been a member of Ellbrook Chapter for twenty-seven (27!) years. She has served as Adah, Ruth, Esther, Martha and Electa as well as Chaplain. When Linda was initiated, Venita and Roy Nielsen were in the East. Linda's favorite Chapter events are Inspections. Outside of Chapter, Linda enjoys water aerobics, walking, and her cardiac rehabilitation exercises. Being in Chapter with her sister Carla has been a "joy" for Linda. "We coach each other and it's our time together. We root for each other and are proud when we and all of the Star Points do well." Linda notes that Carla "puts her heart" into Stars, but it is clear that Linda does too--everyone is always touched by Linda's moving renditions of her Star Point lectures.
